Project 1: ACHIN NextGen Behavioral Health Project

Our Plan of Action:

BIG was sub-contracted in 2010 through business partner, TekMate, to manage a comprehensive Business Requirements and Specification project for the Alaska Clinical Health Information Network. The goal was to direct and coordinate with remote clinical behavioral health providers and healthcare executives to:

  • Compile comprehensive Business Requirements Document
    • Functional and Non-functional Requirements
    • Rationale
    • Reporting requirements

  • Prepare for template builds in EHR and FMO process flows

Project 2: Webinar Power Point Presentation on Creating a Service Culture

Our Plan of Action:

Jim Bates prepared and conducted a webinar to statewide community health centers on creating a true service culture. He provided lecture, case studies, and experiences on process improvement and increased customer quality.

Project 3: APCA Project Management Improvement Initiative

Our Plan of Action:

BIG was engaged to provide Project Management Process Consulting to the Executive and Project Teams. The goal was to improve project management processes and increase effectiveness while reducing costs and bottlenecks.
